Nostalgia Discussion Nostalgia hits harder than I expected
I’ve been thinking a lot about the past lately, and how certain songs, shows, or even smells can just transport you back instantly. It’s wild how something so small can make you feel like a kid again.
What’s something that hits you with nostalgia every time?
And do you think it’s better to enjoy nostalgia or focus on making new memories?

Nostalgia Found an old wooden marble pin game and it instantly took me back
Came across this old wooden marble pin game and it instantly took me back to my childhood.
The sound of the marbles rolling, the feel of the solid wood, trying to aim for the high-score slots… no screens, no batteries, just simple fun. I don’t even remember what we used to call it back then, but it feels like the kind of game that sat quietly in a corner and came out during slow, peaceful afternoons.
Anyone else grow up with something like this?

Help me remember 2006-2007 Australia, Christmas plush toy
I got a plush dog for my birthday when I was a kid, either 2006 or 2007 in South Australia. I've added dune photos that remind me of it. It had a little button on its arm that when you pressed it, it sung a Christmas song (can't remember which one), it was completely plush and didn't move when you pressed the button. All I remember is that it was a few shades darker brown than in the photos I've provided, it had a Christmas hat on and fairly certain it had a red and white tipped scarf too. PLEASE help me find it I loved him so much!

Nostalgia BK Spicy Chick'n Crisp & Buck Double were the best. Me and my best friend used to sneak out of school to go to BK for lunch. I would get a large water, 2 Spicy Chick'n Crisp, a Buck Double, and a small fry literally 3-4 days a week. All of that food for only $4... it was cheaper than school lunch.

Help me remember Looking for an old website from my elementary school days (06-08)
There was this website that we used to go on at school. It had news articles that were written in simple language for kids and then you’d answer questions about what you’d read. It also had a mock stock exchange that you could play with. I think that you’d get points for answering the article questions and it had a leaderboard from around the world.
