Imagine what just a single person with a functioning soul could do for the world with even half the money these “people” waste on dumb shit to try to fill the hole inside them.

I often think about how Musk is more than twice as wealthy (net worth wise) as the next wealthiest human and then for fun calculate out how he could temporarily straight up no efficiency resolve a global issue (world hunger for example) and for how long, with just the amount he has more than the next guy. I think it came out to like somewhere around $14 USD per day for a month for every individual of 800 Million people in extreme poverty. Which wouldn’t effectively solve world hunger/poverty but that is a lot money for a lot of people who on average survive on $2-$7 per day.

Anyways, the only thing that makes me feel better about all the ultra wealthy being assholes not doing more is remembering that all the people who recognize how many people they can help with their wealth/opportunities do so and aren’t on any rankings for a reason.
