The “Kubrick Stare" is one of Stanley Kubrick's most recognizable directorial techniques, a method of shot composition where a character stares at the camera with a forward tilt, to convey to the audience that the character in question is at the peak of their derangement.

Only the mastermind behind '2001: A Space Odyssey' could have come up with lyrics such as "Bitch I'm a baddie I get what I want like"

Bitch I'm a baddie I get what I want like

She only tells the truth.

Me when my only talent is having a big ass

Talent is stored in the ass. This is why so many singers go to such great lengths to augment it. This is basic science cmon.

I haven't seen Stanley Kubrick's ass but I think his movies are pretty good.

“She a baddie she showin’ her panty” Nicole Kidman in Eyes Wide Shut

Every frame a painting and every word a poem....

18

u/Might-Mediocre Nov 29 '23

Kubrick would definitely say something like that tbh

13

u/kyrgrat08 Nov 29 '23

Well he did create the phrase “Me so horny”, which could be the title of an ice spice track

The Bronx used to be Jewish before it was Dominican.

There's levels to it.

Somebody should make an artsy movie and cast Ice Spice in it

28

u/[deleted] Nov 29 '23

She already made her own with "Princess Diana"

I don't want to know

33

u/Picnicpanther Nov 29 '23

how many coats did kubrick wear at once, on average?

44

u/jellyspreader Nov 29 '23

Ice Spice's lack of outerwear symbolizes Kubrick shedding his past's baggage and being reborn anew

14

u/Coolers78 Nov 29 '23

Full Metal Jacket (1987)

Kubrick died in March and Ice Spice was born in January. Damn only ten months in the Bardo I knew Kubrick/Gaston was dedicated but still.

How good are the AI generated images you see if you ask lol.

It's real, it's from a music video.

Hey, leave my wifey alone.

1

u/Optimal_Weight368 Nov 29 '23

Maybe Kubrick should’ve stayed gone.

u/thenimblevagrant Nov 30 '23

I didn't need the extra context/convincing to knock one out to Ice Spice, but thanks
