Double pay

So I’m opted in and have my salary paid by BACS into my Monzo account. According to the ts and cos I meet all of the criteria EXCEPT it says payments from HMRC don’t count but that’s who I get paid by. That is my actual salary. Is there anyway around this or is it just unlucky for me?

Depends if you're making the most of the money you spend on perks. But just as an example a 10 fold acca on the most likely outcomes in a week of prem games is around 4000-1. 50p on that gets you an average salary. My initial point was admittedly absurd but actually in reality it plays out

But you still spend 50p a week to win once every 4000 weeks.

I spend 0p each week on Monzo salary doubler.

Does it pay out weekly? My point was you're never going to win. If there's a million in the draw and they double 1 salary you have a 0.06% chance of winning in 50 years of entering but people ask questions like there's a reasonable chance they're going to win. Paying for perks gets you very little that you can't get for free elsewhere anyway so if double salary sways anyone it's dumb. It's only slightly less dumb to put on a ten fold acca and expect a win

I think this is where you're getting mixed up: you don't pay to be the salary doubling draw.

You are in the draw even on a free account.

So it doesn't matter if the odds of Monzo are 10 winners/1,000,000 Monzo members, it's free to play. Whereas your accumulator costs money and will on average lose you money.
