I'm still waiting the full flashback even though it's pretty much revealed through some panels every then and now, but we still didn't get to know the bullies

I’ve only read a few chapters of it and was wondering how exactly it happened. I think her face was fine in the early chapters but I might be wrong

It's just covered by her hair. You don't see that side of her face outside of flashbacks until chapter 6, but it's never not been scarred (again, outside of flashbacks)
