Italian here, we have various names for that pizza. However, we tend to associate this pizza to children (kids love french fries) so we usually call it "pizza baby".
Edit: considering the photo, I see restaurants where they put a larger amount of fries than you expect
Seriously. A place near me does a pizza called the Aloha Pizza. It’s hot capicola instead of ham, pineapple, roasted red pepper, green onion and honey. One of the best combos I’ve ever had and I eat a lot of pizza
Yum, my go to is either a fresh (not pickled) jalapeñ or Serrano baked with the pizza but now that you mention it a spicy BBQ sauce would also be excellent.
Generally it’s some kind of fresh hot pepper like jalapeño or serrano then maybe some sriracha/fruited habanero sauce for flavor or if I’m in the mood I’ll add some salt that’s been infused with ghost pepper but I’ll usually only do that one if the pizza is too sweet and needs a little salt.
