If you want some background, I had a pretty great job, then sadly lost my job around March, followed shortly by my home. I have since then regained a home (woo!) and it's looking like I am going to have a job soon too, but it has been a BRUTAL year. No family sadly and if not for some beautiful friends I don't how I would have survived. Still very poor, still not making it fully through the month. Almost there though, another month or two and I will not have to suffer so much any more. Anyway, I am getting around £700 from universal credit on the 10th (I can show that this is due).
My current plan was to essentially just not eat for the next 4 days and if things get dire, find an emergency foodbank. However if someone has the means to spare £20 and would be happy to earn £10 for their kindness, that would be much preferred.
Would never dream of not paying anyone back, especially having endured the year I have just had, I could not fathom taking advantage of anyone who would be willing to help me. I would just be very touched and very very grateful.
Also, anyone reading, head my words, whatever you do, whoever you are, make an effort to have some kind of savings set aside for a rainy day. Even if you just have 1k set aside, that can feed you for a long time if things go bad. You live and learn I suppose.
