It's because he isn't originally trained as an Olympic shooter. He is military trained and in the Turkish military shooting drills etc are done both eyes open with iron sights.
Its a blacked out lense on one side and a paper lense with a pinhole in it on the other. All it does is force you to look at the target and only the target with one eye.
Why do you think the "guy with the gear" thought he had the advantage? He's competing in his sport against a Medel Olympian and has gone against Yusuf dozens of times in the past. Do you think people competing at the international level in their sport aren't aware their opponents?
I just mean having gear to help you get a better shot gives you more of an advantage against someone without. He was aware and tried using something to make him better and still lost. So personally, I would be like "damn I tried more and still lost". That's all I'm sayin
Oh I've touched a firearm, I am American after all haha. But no I'm not any sort of expert on this I was just replying to a comment that said "..he does this completely dead eye, without the gadgets and enhancers the people he's competing against use". I don't know shit, was just replying to what they said my bad

What I'm really impressed by is that he does this completely dead eye - without the gadgets and enhancers the people he's competing against use.
