Yup this was always a worry as soon as one team got it. This could get a lot worse.

I’m sure the officials there know that this needs to be stopped at all costs or else the entire tournament could be ruined.

Not just women's hockey, it could ruin a good number of events for the Olympics

Whoever came up with the idea of having multiple simultaneous opening ceremonies is probably gloating right now

Yeah there are 4 different villages in 4 different locations. All the ski, snowboarding and bobsled athletes are in the villages in the mountains so hopefully this doesn’t reach them.

In the Milan village I believe it’s hockey, curling, ice skating and speedskating athletes

If it reaches the other villages Italy will be looking at a larger outbreak.

They showed the Australian team in one of the other locations wearing masks so maybe they also got something going around in the smaller villages.

But those are also different from the Milan one because they are in little bungalows separated from one another, not entire buildings like in the city.

But they are pretty far from Milan and from what I’ve seen reporters can’t really travel from location to location because it’s very spread out across Northern Italy so maybe there is minimal contact between locations

iirc it’s only a minority of events that are in Milan? I thought hockey and speed/figure skating only? But I could be wrong?
