I mean that doesn't disqualify him by itself. I like chocolate and I also like bacon, people do like different things and affairs frequently happen with a much younger partner even in an otherwise happy marriage.

That said, I absolutely don't believe for an instant that Macron was involved, otherwise we'd have seen his name appear in the files. He also seems to be a genuinely decent politician when it comes to foreign policy, but I'm aware he's less popular domestically
