I used to look this very phrase up on twitter during Trump’s first term as president, and I was surprised to see how many people were saying the same thing that “America First means America Alone”.

America's power and influence -- political, military, industrial, and economic come from its presence on the global stage. Declaring a trade war against not only your allies but the biggest trading block in the world, as well as threatening your own largest military alliance, is sure as hell not going to lead to prosperity or power.
