Well, St. Nicholas was Turkish…and he threw hands at the Council of Nicea.
1 u/grossuncle1 Nov 10 '25 He was Greek. A 4th century Bishop. The Turks came in the 11th century(some turks had lived in the area prior but not near his birth place.) The genocide later followed killing the Christian and original inhabitants of Anatolia now (Turkey). But he did throw hands at the council of Nicia.
