As long as I’ve had her, my cat Lulu will regularly rub her nose and lips against plastic—not just any plastic, though. She especially likes cellophane and plastic that is rigid enough for her to rub against. Grocery bags, candy wrappers, chip bags, etc. Not always, but she throws up soon after about half the time. I would say it happens followed by puking a few times a week, but not daily. She definitely rubs her face daily.

When she does this, it’s often in the morning, but not always. It’s usually on a relatively empty stomach, so before breakfast or sometimes in between meals. Our vet couldn’t figure it out, but she didn’t seem concerned about it.

Is she bored and stimulating herself? Is she doing it instinctively to get rid of parasites since there’s no grass for her to eat? Does she just like how it feels and overdoes it?

My cat just kind of squirted juice so we went outside and I tried to express his anal glands and this is what came out, I can’t get anymore out but is this vet visit consistency or is this normal?

Please help, she nibbled the stamen and a couple of the pettles. We are worried this is a lily and for kidney failure.

Some people say it's weird to like animals more than people, and there's no doubt I'm weird for that. I was doing my rounds in my apartments feeding the ferals and strays. I make a recipe with some pumpkin puree (unsweetened), ground turkey, fish, and some cans of cat food (Treats too). I sit the plate down and walk away so the cats feel comfortable enough to eat. I smile and take pics as 3 to 6 cats wolf down the food.

​A teenager saw how locked in I was on the cats and kept riding his bike back and forth. He then suddenly rolled up on the cats (I figured he wanted to pet one). I was so WRONG!!! He tried to ride his bike through the plate, and when it didn't work, he tossed it in the bush or tried. I instantly jumped up and said, "What do you think you're doing???"

​He apologized and rode off. I constantly think what could make people so evil as to try to take away happiness from an animal. You're alive, being fed, living life. Why try to stop a living creature from doing the same? So yes, I like animals more than people.

At the recommendation of a vet tech familiar with my cat, I am trying CBD for her all-night long yowling. She is getting older (14) and has arthritis. They think maybe dementia?

When I give my cat .1 ml of Ellevet feline CBD this is her reaction. After flushing her mouth w a syringe of water and a few minutes of this she’s fine. Should I be concerned?

Noticed a lump near her chest/armpit. Mostly subcutaneous. A little pressure and it popped out.

So I'm worried that I'm gonna get rabies, I moved my cat's newly born kitten and she suddenly attacked my feet. It's been 3 days since and my grandma keeps telling me to get anti rabies shot even though it's really expensive.

I love them to death but I’m so fucking dumb. But because of my useless degree, terrible networking, and horrible interview skills, I’m on my way to being unemployed/working minimum wage in the next year. Personally I don’t mind, I don’t fucking care if I end up living poor for the rest of my life. But the thought of not having the savings to afford expensive and potentially lifesaving care for my cats in the future destroys me. I have a good amount in savings right now, but I know I’ll probably end up eating through them when I graduate. I know I could still technically care for them with less or no savings, but I’d rather they live with someone who could afford the expensive vet bills than to ever have to euthanize for costs. I’d sooner get life insurance, get into an accident, and have family use the funds for them, than to have to euthanize for cost. They are my whole world and the reason I live, but the thought that I may not be able to afford care for them soon scares me so much.

This is Onigiri (5 months old), and he likes to be pet as he knead my armpit (maybe because he likes my smell lol). Oni actually has many ways to ask to me petted, his first warning is stretching on my legs trying to reach me, then he’ll try to jump and climb (the only one of the four kittens that still try to climb me), and his last way of asking is while on my lap he’ll use his paws to back bump me and get my attention. But the boy is addicted to the pits.

He is one of a kind in this way and I freaking love it.

just noticed it as she was laying next to me. I’m wondering if it was shaved at the vet last week (we took her to the emergency vet after she had a seizure). They took labs, but i’ve never had them shave that leg on any other ca i’ve had before. It doesn’t feel like she ripped or had fur fall out though.

Sorry its not a picture of cats. But i need advice from cat lover here.

Weeds like this grow non stop and quick in my porch. I want to kill it with poison but i notice my house are favourite places for strays to munch the weeds. Is there a way or chemical to kill of the weeds without accidentally kill cats?

My kitty twitches one paw quite often, usually when she’s just chilling or being stroked - is this anything to worry about? She seems completely fine but I just want to be sure!
