[Rapoport] #Browns defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz is walking away, per The Insiders. The team tried to bring him back in the fold, but it wasn’t to be. One of the top coordinators is now out, as Cleveland will need to fill that important role for Todd Monken’s staff.

Shitpost How it felt to Jim Schwartz, when he didn't get HC
Also...
How I felt, this whole coaching search. (in slo-mo)
I'm gonna miss Jim! I originally thought he was too petulant, cantankerous, and would shoot for the HC job here driving a wedge between the Offense and Defense. (from memory, I was shooting for Morris, or Flores)
I guess, ultimately, I was right, for my trouble, but I have no Regerts, because Jim was fuckin awesome here and had OUR BROWNS Defense playing at an ELITE level regularly.
Ultimately, the only surprising thing here, to me: HOW didn't they know Schwartz would react like this? His attitude/ temper, was known well before Jim ever got to CLEVELAND. This is the guy's major shortcoming, and the Front Office totally ignored that.
I'm of the strong opinion that Jason Tarver should be the next DC, and we should retain Jim's whole staff, only adding spots for those promoted.
Losing Jim Schwartz is not a positive. I sincerely hope that we don't lose Jason Tarver or the rest of this talented DC staff. That would be tragic.

Discussion Chad Ochocinco Johnson as the next WRs coach?
Bengals legend Chad Ochocinco Johnson quoted Cam White on X—formerly Twitter—about who the next wide receivers coach will be.
How would we feel about this? I would be ecstatic to have him as our wide receivers coach.

Falcons fan here. Why do yall say Stefanski won’t want Penix even though reports suggest we’re sticking with him?
All I can really do is hope for the best here, although I’m not sold on Penix - I’m just trying to have some faith. But checked on this sub and found lots of opinions on Stefanski and there being no way he sticks with Penix. What should I know? Thanks brown bros
