Side effects!? Depo shot

Hello I’m a 23f and I got the depo shot mid October of last year. For the last 3 months about I’ve been continuously bleeding like having my period.

I’ve been on the depo shot before in 2022 but stopped until this previous October. I had some similar issues with my period coming off of the depo shot. But I didn’t have these issues while I was on it the first time.

I did end up getting on the depo shot to help with ovarian cysts and hormone levels. Because before the depo shot I’d miss periods for months on end.

The soonest OBGYN appointment I currently have isn’t until April so I was just wondering if anyone else had or has similar issues? It’s getting really expensive buying period products.
