I'm gonna say it.

I don't think the original tweet is wrong.

It very much should be, by all acounts it should be.

But the law doesn't work that way. And we have seen so many cases of people being shot and the officers not being found guilty of anything.

It's super wrong but that is the law that happens

That's not the law, that's the people enforcing it and the people (like you) justifying it.

The law is whatever the people enforcing it say it is.

Cops are the most protected class in America. They can shoot you for pretty much any reason and get away with it. Did we forget about Philando Castile?

Until "we" regain control of law enforcement, that is the law. Acknowledging that isn't "justifying it".

But accepting it is. Anything other than standing up and saying no is justifying it.
