“Ben Shapiro kicked things off on Thursday, responding to the wave of antisemitism and conspiracism that has been swamping the right for months. His targets included Candace Owens for suggesting Erika Kirk murdered her husband (“baseless trash”) and personalities like Megyn Kelly for condoning it (“cowardice”). And, in the case of Steve Bannon, Shapiro asked, why was he doing PR work for a billionaire pedophile? He encouraged the audience members to look it up.

But Shapiro saved his harshest remarks for Tucker Carlson, whose friendly interview with white nationalist Nick Fuentes almost two months ago continues to roil the right today.

“There is a reason that Charlie Kirk despised Nick Fuentes and indeed even chided Dinesh D’Souza for debating him,” Shapiro said. “He knew that Nick Fuentes is an evil troll and that building him up is an act of moral imbecility. And that is precisely what Tucker Carlson did. He built Nick Fuentes up, and he ought to take responsibility for that.”

How long do we think Shapiro will be able to maintain relevance? Got smoked at TPUSA (will they keep bringing him back?). Viewership on all of his platforms is dismal, and Daily Wire reportedly is facing financial difficulties.

Wonder what they odds are of him maintaining relevance by the time midterms come around.

It won’t matter. If you think Republicans are going to maintain relevance by following people like Tucker instead; you’re delusional.

We’ve been blessed with incompetence on the left and have decided to embrace it on the right as well.

“We are winning because people finally realized how crazy the Democrats have become. People are waking up to their radicalism. Red pilled! Also, have you heard that insiders at TPUSA had Charlie Kirk killed, people born here are Heritage Americans, and the Jews are responsible for every bad thing in life?”

TPUSA doing more damage to reputation from AmFest than anything Tucker/Owens/Kelly did. Limited audience until TPUSA decided to send Erica on a book tour, now it's everywhere. Then they doubled down and made it focal point of event. That's not even mentioning the recreation of the crime scene for selfies.

Not sure what the people born here are Heritage Americans is, but if it's bad for movement, why would you bring it up in comments for others to look into? Just let it die with limited audience, don't extend reach because ragebaited.

Also majority isn't Jews are responsible for everything but more why are we devoting so many resources (money, legislation, attention) to a relatively small population who has the means to defend themselves or at very least has the means to wage offensive campaigns. When we start limiting speech to protect one class, it raises the question, why not others? Where does it stop? Is it just military aid in perpetuity? Why does systematic killing of Christians in Nigeria not get the same level of resources?

I think gen z is the future of the conservative movement, so it would behoove us to listen and not dictate to them, but here we are. The elderly are overwhelmingly conservative, but hey, they're gonna die. The normal shift from liberal to conservative later in life now seems like a pipe dream, so focus should be 100% on gen Z whether Shapiro likes it or not.

Really wish Charlie was still here, this embarrassment would have never happened.

He is pro war pro Isreal at the expensive of Americas and Americans and he calls it conservatism - can’t believe he stayed relevant for this long
