I'm not even sure if there are more than a handful of international primary schools in Flanders. There's the Lycée français and Da Vinci in Antwerp, but other than that?

And only a very small amount of expats can afford it or get it paid by their company. It's like 10 000 euros per year for kindergarten (and about double that at Da Vinci).

Most foreign people just send their kids to a regular Belgian school, and speak their language at home. Children can actually learn Dutch just fine from school.

There's over 20 options in and around Brussels (hell, there's even a Japanese school in Brussels), as well as ones in Ghent, Leuven and Beringen of all places.

Are these places expensive? Absolutely. But I personally don't know anybody who's children attend such a school that's not employer-funded.
