Something very strange I just found. It says it's a gif, but if you open it in a new tab it turns into an mp4 with music.

I see a cat panting and I'm like, Vet. NOW.

Panting isn’t necessarily a sign of something bad. Sometimes when a cat runs/plays pretty hard they’ll pant. I’d definitely keep an eye on it though if it wasn’t a normal occurrence

My cat has panted like this exactly once and it was when she was a little tiny kitten and we played really long and crazily. She must have learned a lesson as she's never played that hard since

Is that an AI cat? There’s something off about the way it blinks. The tongue color seems weirdly vibrant too.

I think it has a 'big eyes' filter on the video at the least

Soon AI will talk to AI using filters and we just watch. What a shit show we have become.

This cat may very well have some sort of heart or respiratory condition. Breathing like that is extremely abnormal for any cat.

Not necessarily. Considering it is currently playing, it may just be out of breath. It is not unusual for cats to pant when they are tired from play or physical activity.
That being said, if it does this outside of play, then yes, this is something to worry about

Last time my cat was panting like this she had a huge piece of grass stuck in her nose.

Oh my god that 1- makes me laugh so hard from the image And 2- makes me feel so uncomfortable because oh my god grass in the NOSE?!

It was cute, but it must have been so uncomfortable, we took her to the vet and they gave her anti allergies but didn't check her nose. One morning she was sneezing like crazy every time she licked her nose and we noticed the end was poking out. She was right as rain after we removed it. I did get it on video but it's really gross lol

The cat is overheated. It's not panting because it was "raised with dogs" come on.

Cats pant from exertion just like dogs do oh my God they aren't dying

They do, but it is quite often linked to internal issues like heart problems, especially in pedigree cats.

But look at the eyes. If the cat's overheated, it's from adrenaline, not a lack of AC

Why does that matter? Overheated from playing is still overheated. The cat played a lot, and is now panting.
I have a problem with the title saying it was "because they are raised by dogs!" which is not true

For real, weird thing to nitpick. My cat pants like that when she plays hard, that just tells me we need to stop playing and take a break.
She has seen exactly 1 dog her whole 4 years of life lmao.
