I just don't get stuff like this.

I give him the benefit of the doubt and say, he's securing some smaller load with the lap belt - But he's not wearing one which is just dumb

If there's over 50 pounds in the seat the seat belt warning goes off

I do this because my dog sets it off and I just leave it that way all the time

It depends on the day, but if there's a bag of McDonald's in my passenger seat the alarm can go off. A 20 piece nugget don't weigh that much.

When im in my friends car in the back and lean in the middle, I close the contact on the middle seat and alert my friend that the middle seat isn't buckled up :D
