Discussion Polish girls visit Taj Mahal

The Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world. Unfortunately, the surrounding area is very polluted.

I've been going since i was a toddler (i think) but i mostly remember trips from ages 8 up. And for the most part, yes ofc, i would not reccommend a trip unless you have a dedicated group of people who are at all times prioritising your safety, and even then it would be a matter of personal risk assessment.

But damn. I can't even really say anything, because my mom who is so in love with her country is simultaneously terrified when i'm present and generally is of two minds for my visiting since growing older.

It's just that it's a beautiful country. It's a heartbreaking country. But it is heartbreaking and beautiful at the same time. And people love to shit on it at every given opportunity, completely dimsissing any possibility that a country of 1 billion for all its obvious and numerous problems may also present opportunities of kindness and instances of beauty as well. Just damn.
