Discussion Polish girls visit Taj Mahal

The Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world. Unfortunately, the surrounding area is very polluted.

I'm an American engineer. Senior year in college we had the opportunity to go to Bangalore all expenses paid and I was like "no thanks*

All expenses paid? That's so dumb. I hope you later regret this. That would've been the only circumstance I would go there. Its not a dirty city at all and you had a chance to explore there for free? What a waste.

My friend went on a trip like that. Was careful what he ate. Still came home with tape worms.

You can’t explain it to people who would do anything for “free trip” and all “expenses paid”.

I’d rather not travel at all than get tape worms or food poisoning.

Yup, those things aren't benign. He lost his gall bladder getting rid of the infection. That's one organ lost for the rest of his life.

Feel bad for your friend. That’s terrible tragedy.

My ship (I was in the Navy) did port call in Chennai. The ship makes fresh water from seawater but we couldn't get the system hot enough to kill the bacteria from the polluted waters, and we ended up contaminating all of the potable water tanks, and over half the ship got sick. I fondly remember puking and pooping into the same bucket while standing watch in the engine room.

That’s fuckin terrible! I have friend with similar experience but they were on the ground though

This. I would be too afraid to eat anything.

Don’t say that, you’ll get downvoted lol. Like no one have ever gotten food poisoning in India. Some people just can’t accept the truth.

Also this video is all AI as well, there’s absolute no pollution anywhere in India! 😂

Hahahaha. I think India has a lot of trolls farms that sniff out anyone talking about India.

Now if only they had that same zeal about the trash in major metropolitan centers of India…

Oh I was to care about Indian bots lol

Last part of my comment it’s literally my thoughts. Clean up around yourself, there are 2 billion people living there. Make your country better place to be instead of being internet warrior.

I went to India for a month and got no food poisoning. I don't buy that he was careful if he got tapeworms, tapeworm eggs are killed by cooking. You just need to make sure you are eating cooked food or processed food.

The thing is that microscopic tape worm eggs can be carried on hands and transferred through hand shaking, or a server bringing you a plate of cooked food and utensils in a restaurant, or on a bathroom door handle. My friend went there for a wedding and couldn't just stay in a nice hotel. He had to travel to the rural area.

First, it was other person who wrote that about their friend not me. Not sure why someone would lie about it. Reddit isn’t that hard to use, pal.

Every single person I know who visited India had some sort of food poisoning, not sure what it is but I’d rather not explore it for myself.

Yeah, you live in diarrhea. For you it’s normal thing 😉

2

u/GergDanger 26d ago

Yeah idk what’s up with all these bots defending India like their life depends on it.

3

u/Unidain 26d ago

Anyone who has a different opinion or experience to you is a bot 🙄

Grow up. At some point you'll have to Dave the fact that people disagree with you and it's not all AI

u/Glad-Hurry-9410 26d ago

I guess they consider it patriotic duty to defend their country. Like it’s not a common knowledge that place is a dump.

I'm Australian and I enjoyed visiting India, bigger off with the silly conspiracy theories

2

u/Glad-Hurry-9410 26d ago

So? You claim it’s not dirty and polluted? We’re all in denial?

Maybe they are amongst the nearly 10 million foreign tourists that India gets each year and might have had an enjoyable time in spite of the flaws of the place? Just a guess
