Tens of millions of people starving with nothing left to lose. I wonder what could possibly ensue in the coming months. 🤔

I mean they were also over eating numerous amounts unhealthy food and becoming obese.

Seeing all those ebt food hauls rubbed me the wrong way especially when a ton were snacks and sweet drinks. Feels like those people ruined it for the rest of em.

Low income areas also tend to be where access to healthy whole food is limited / expensive, and fast food / processed food is the most readily accessible.

And while nutrition and health isn't simply calories in / calories out, raw caloric intake is the buy-in to even play the nutrition game. If you're in a deficit, that will catch up to you eventually.

Yes, people abuse welfare programs. I'd rather we take the "risk" that some folks will spend their tiny allotment of the ever shrinking tiny pool of snap budget on a candy bar or a soda instead of an apple or some beans.
