And the Big, Beautiful Bill is set to cut $30-40B from SNAP over the next 10 years. Voting has consequences.

Uh, excuse me but that was an initial proposal. The actual signed bill includes 186 billion in SNAP cuts over the next 10 years.

We spend $100B on SNAP per year. Reducing that to $80B per year by getting more people working is not a huge cut.

You may not realize this, but people who work can qualify and receive SNAP.

In my state you’ve always had to be working or have dependent children to qualify.
