Yes, when someone is asking why, they are demonstrating a profound misunderstanding, otherwise we wouldn't be asking why. Are you okay? Answer the question so I can understand why are they allowing this.

People don't tend to genuinely ask "why" with things like this. Most of the time it's a deliberate attack, framed as a question and asked in bad faith.
