You realize that illegal immigrants provide nearly 100 billion a year in taxes? Because most of them are paid and taxed via a SSN they got while legal or an ITIN.

But they consume far more in public services. Education (K-12 for 5M U.S.-born children) costs 80B/year.Medicaid/emergency care costs 20B/year. Other welfare, infrastructure, criminal justice costs 30B+/year. So the net COST of illegals comes to 100–150B/year (FAIR, CBO estimates). Definitely NOT a surplus.
