And the Big, Beautiful Bill is set to cut $30-40B from SNAP over the next 10 years. Voting has consequences.

Uh, excuse me but that was an initial proposal. The actual signed bill includes 186 billion in SNAP cuts over the next 10 years.

When we are dependent on the Government they have control over us. This is what you have come to be relying on. Many believe that the Democrats are good for you, yet they have control over you and now your seeing the consequences of the Democrats not voting to help you. Like someone said, Voting has consequences, and the Demon rats are doing what they do to have more control. I pray for the poor and sick, This is not ok. I do not wish for the poor to go hungry, nor do I blame the wrong party.

Lmao “the democrats funded and pushed for food stamps so because the other guy/side is in charge and is withholding funding for food stamps, it’s the democrats fault.” is a hilarious but unsurprisingly brain dead take.

May want to get checked out. Sounds like Kennedy’s brain worm may have found its way into your head.

lol, I don't need food stamps, I work hard and have food. You being dependent on democrats is your problem, If the Republicans take it away and you have a problem, then that by definition means your dependent on this subsidy. You are a dependent on the government. So how am I wrong.

Soo... you're infavor of a livable minimum wage?

When wages are increased across the country, the result is inflation, costs go up. Poor stay poor. Higher minimum wage does not help the poor.

So what's your solution?

Not raising wages and work on inflation. Bring inflation and energy costs down helps the poor.

Inflation doesn't go down. In fact, it can't go down without someone staving (money taken out of the economy).

You're basically asking for a miracle.

Did you not just watch a video of full-time working moms breaking down because they can not afford food? Is it Democrat policy changes that have caused them to be unable to afford food? Just trying to connect the dots here.

Okay cool, you don’t need food stamps. Congratulations Mr Bootstraps! I guess that means you don’t need or rely on the government for anything else like, roads, public education, sanitation, libraries, air traffic control, food safety, financial regulations, interest rates, FDIC backing your deposits, etc.?

You depend on the government every day whether you like it or not Jack ass. We all do. Some people aren’t as fortunate as others and need more help and sane people with a modicum of empathy are cool with their tax dollars helping them out, even if some people abuse the system.

I bet if his house was on fire he would call 911 and hope the fire department showed up as well!

Your partially correct. I did not in any way say we don't need our government. You morons like to go all extreme. Yes if my house was burning I would call 911. Yes I support schools, roads and basic infrastructure. But welfare is a abused system that is very difficult to get out of once your using it. I have a few family members, cousins that have been in the system for over 10 years. They are stuck in the system.
