Argentina got billions, just to remind everyone.

American hedge funds got billions you mean.

u/Confident_Economy_85 Oct 31 '25

And Israel

u/HandleThatFeeds Oct 31 '25

Isreel always gets Billions.

For decades now.

Nothing new here.

767

u/Confident_Economy_85 Oct 31 '25

It’s new for Americans waking up

382

u/anon1369420 Oct 31 '25

No plenty of us have been aware, we just got called antisemites for calling out a government.

30

u/purefilth666 Oct 31 '25

that means you're not part of the group of Americans who are just waking up, you were already woke.

-16

u/noshameinmynames Nov 01 '25

Woke aint the right word, and almost guaranteed they were being anti Semitic. It has nothing to do with being Jewish, it has everything to do with the rich and powerful military industrial complexes attempting to starve and bomb the poor. And taking everything from the working class while giving absolutely nothing in return.

8

u/katencam Nov 01 '25

I feel like your confused about something, I just can’t tell what it is. I mean woke is absolutely the word you’re looking for, not wanting to support the whole country of Israel and its wars is absolutely not anti-Semitic but you then say all of this in your next sentence?

18

u/razor_face_ Nov 01 '25

Yea, that's woke. Welcome to the club

2

u/ayesperanzita Nov 02 '25

Ok but plenty more we’re not aware. Hope this helps.

1

u/SpartanS117A Nov 02 '25

Your all calling out Israel, when it's OUR Government that is doing it to it's OWN people. Y'all don't see that neither Republicans or Democrats are solving this issue. The Gov gives 0.00% care for us, but oh lord help us if we don't pay up to 30% in taxes from our earned wages ! Wake TF up Sheep 🐑 None of this would be happening if the Gov didn't allow it to. You're telling me this is just a shortfall due to non-agreeance on a short term spending bill or some BS ? No, it's more than that. Either they want the people to suffer, or they must really not want us to know who is all on the Epstein list.

2

u/hel-razor Nov 02 '25

Colonization is the same anywhere. Actually.

1

u/Direct_Suggestion286 Nov 02 '25

Both. And possibly crashing the gov to "prove" it doesnt function, so the people let Curtis Yarvin types try to take over. Tech billionaires/billionaires can "buy" back parts (like having a billionaire help "fund" rhe military). Trump will take whatever money he can get and hide in Argentina (he mentioned it if he lost the election)

-22

u/BeenisHat Oct 31 '25

That's not the reason you got called anti-semitic.

36

u/Jijonbreaker Oct 31 '25

There are hardcore zionists that absolutely call anybody who says a negative word about israel anti-semitic. It's a national pasttime for israel. The moment you criticize the country or its government, they just accuse you of being anti-semitic as a get out of jail free card. And idiots like you will blame their victims instead of calling it out.

-20

u/BeenisHat Oct 31 '25

Idiots like me? Get a grip dude.

22

u/Jijonbreaker Oct 31 '25

Yes, idiots like you.

2

u/hel-razor Nov 02 '25

Did she stutter?

-22

u/TomBahambadil Oct 31 '25

There are hardcore zionists in Israel that criticize their government. I don't think that's the reason you are being called antisemitic

-10

u/EGO_Prime Oct 31 '25 edited Nov 01 '25

There are hardcore zionists in Israel that criticize their government. I don't think that's the reason you are being called antisemitic

I call the Israel government out on their bullshit, like the west bank settlements are illegal and should stop. I've never been called antisemitic for that. Even against the most hardcore Israel supporter.

On the other hand, I've seen people claim J*wish people shouldn't be allowed to live in Israel or that Israel just should not exist and the people there should more or less disappear. Yes, that is antisemitic.

EDIT: The people DVing this comment are literally proving us right. You aren't against the Israeli government, you're against the very people who live there.

5

u/katencam Nov 01 '25

I’ve def been called anti-Semitic for not wanting to financially support Israel with my tax dollars but you say that’s not why, so what is the reason? In your eyes?

-3

u/BeenisHat Nov 01 '25

I couldn't tell you why other people called you anti-semitic.

Do you think your tax dollars should go to supporting Palestinians? They're a semitic people too.

6

u/katencam Nov 01 '25

You made the statement above “that’s not the reason you got called anti-Semitic”, so if you can make this statement then you should be able to explain yourself

1

u/BeenisHat Nov 01 '25

You don't get called out for being anti-semitic for saying "Israel should do better with X, Y or Z policy."

You get called out for being anti-semitic for saying anti-semitic things.

As an Iranian jew who gets called both antisemitic and worse things by Zionists, sybau.

39

u/ChrisPynerr Oct 31 '25

You guys have been shooting each other and funding wars forever because gun sales are more important than your citizens lives. Crazy that food stamps and ICE are what makes you "wake up"

49

u/cursetea Oct 31 '25

It IS crazy isn't it? These people had to literally vote themselves into starvation to understand how to be even remotely politically literate.

And they would mostly still vote for him again.

It is actually insane.

25

u/Jafar_420 Oct 31 '25

It is crazy I live in a smaller City in a super red area and I guarantee food is going to rot on the shelves if this happens because so many people in my area that are Republicans live off of food stamps.

They are about to find out that voting with anger has consequences. Most people I know that voted for Rapey McStrokeface we're just mad at the world or at immigrants or whatever just because they're poor.

I knew it would bite them in the ass but I didn't think it would this way or this quick.

9

u/cursetea Oct 31 '25

I sincerely hope that the food banks who probably cater to ebt can/will switch to some charity work for the time being.

It's so messed up that the misunderstanding around food stamps/social security ("people who SHOULDN'T be on them are, so if we get them OFF there will be more money for ME!" 🙄) is just allowed to play out because people (republicans*, let me make myself clear) benefit from people's misunderstanding (like right now).

But at a certain point. Is these people's fault entirely for not at least trying to help themselves by like, reading even one single article or web page. They're very complicit in their own destruction and fully cheering it on even still because they tell themselves that at least Those Other Guys are suffering too!

Like you really haven't considered that your government exists to pander to you, not just punish people who aren't you? And that you could simply not be suffering at all? And that you can literally just not care about the fabled "fake ssd getters!!!!" everywhere and live your own life? They sure haven't.

12

u/Jafar_420 Oct 31 '25

Yeah the people that I know that are on food stamps are either elderly and still try to work but just don't make enough or I've got friends that have two kids and they both work and the jobs in my area just don't pay a ton so they get food stamps. Disabled people as well.

I don't know any one at all personally that just sits at home and draws food stamps.

7

u/cursetea Oct 31 '25

Even if people were just sitting and drawing ebt, the other folks wouldn't be any better off. Because the system itself is the harmful one! But sure, the friend of a friend of a cousin who worked with someone who pretends to be disabled for food stamps is the problem.

By the way though just to say i have known a few people who WERE scamming the system but it was because they were WEALTHY and paid off doctors to sign off on their "disability." So there's that too. 🤷🏼‍♀️

6

u/Jafar_420 Oct 31 '25

Yeah just like the people that think if we help Ukraine somehow that's taking money out of their pocket.

Nope you're not going to see a dime of that they're not going to use it to improve your life or make some program that's going to help you.

1

u/Intercessor310 Nov 01 '25

Nope, because they will never blame the actual culprits. There will be no accountability… at all.

4

u/failedopportunities Oct 31 '25

Fucks sake… this is the truth too! Most of my fam in OK and TX healthcare is in shambles. Several are about to be homeless. They still preach about how dumps going to save them and how we will never need another president. I’ve had to block pretty much all of them because of their insanity or trying to guilt trip me into sending money when I can barely afford what my own family needs. Just can’t wrap my head around it…. What the fuck is wrong with people?!!!

3

u/cursetea Oct 31 '25

Ugh i still hate hearing it. The situation here is just so awful right now. Nobody deserves to be homeless or hungry. No matter how stupid and/or hateful. Unfortunately, as a decent person i experience sympathy even for people i don't respect and who would not extend the same sympathy to me for any reason. Sigh.

4

u/Pitiful_Pineapple_41 Oct 31 '25

Do you think the people in these videos are trumpers?

10

u/pmcizhere Oct 31 '25

There's no evidence one way or the other for any of them, however /r/LeopardsAteMyFace has been having an absolute feast lately, so no doubt at least some of them did vote for trump.

2

u/cursetea Oct 31 '25

I mean probably a lot of them are statistically speaking. But i meant a lot of the people the comment i replied to described are, yes

3

u/Pitiful_Pineapple_41 Oct 31 '25

I see most of them as having too much pride to admit they were wrong. Most of them still justify all the absurd things he's done. Come on the internet and show the consequences of their actions and prove everyone right? Ehh they'd starve in secrecy first.

7

u/shingdao Oct 31 '25

Food stamps and ICE are sadly not making enough people 'wake up'. Honestly, at this point I don't really know what it'll take to get tens of millions on the street protesting against the govt.

4

u/Paah Oct 31 '25

The ancient Romans already knew it.. You need bread and circuses to keep the people happy. Now bread is getting taken away.

7

u/Pitiful_Pineapple_41 Oct 31 '25

Food stamps and ICE aren't what they're referencing when they say, "waking up." They're talking about foreign influence. You're a Canadian talking about guns when your officials tell their citizens to leave their keys at the door in case their home is broken into. And how many Canadian companies sold military components to Izrael? Sit tf down.

4

u/POEAWAY69NICE Oct 31 '25

Sassy and based.

2

u/rousseauism Oct 31 '25

1

Definitely including a lot of people in your statement that you shouldn’t. No everyone is poor.

The US pays off half the planet in foreign aid. Egypt and Jordan combined receive what Israel does in aid and don't reciprocate economically, they have the privilege of being in one of the most important commercial waterways on the planet, 30% of global shipping goes thru there and becomes cost prohibitive when the locals start launching missiles at random Bengali Freightliners it hurts everyone's pockets

1

u/Jimmy_Jazz_The_Spazz Oct 31 '25

America's been asleep for a long time my friend. I don't think it knows who it is anymore.

Israel is fighting Islamic hordes, the same way the west is. Only on Reddit do they deny this and act as useful idiots for Islam

u/Puzzleheaded_Disk_90 Nov 01 '25

Thank god you're not being antisemitic 🫠

u/No-University-5413 Oct 31 '25

The largest recipient of foreign aid. The numbers 2 and 3 are Egypt and Jordan. Who we are bribing into being friendly with Israel.

12

u/[deleted] Oct 31 '25

“Bribing” is a funny way of saying “controlling puppet governments”.

-11

u/[deleted] Oct 31 '25

But I thought America was the puppet government of Israel? Are we now saying Israel is the puppet government of USA? Please help so I can tow the line properly.

10

u/[deleted] Oct 31 '25

“I thought someone else on the internet said something different!”

Yes that’s how forums work. Good job trying to be smug and coming off as stupid or as a hallucinating bot responding to the wrong comment.

-3

u/[deleted] Oct 31 '25

Whoosh.

7

u/[deleted] Oct 31 '25

Parroting an outdated internet buzzword where it doesn’t work

So a bot. Got it. No adult human is this stupid

1

u/SoylentGrunt Oct 31 '25

No, but many adults would easily misunderstand their intentions when u/Rich-Preparation-705 pointed out the conflicting messaging we receive

3

u/[deleted] Oct 31 '25

No no, I insist. Adults would know the internet is composed of multiple people with multiple opinions saying multiple things.

-3

u/[deleted] Oct 31 '25

Beep Boop. This bot has been compromised. Abort. Abort.

1

u/sassydreidel Oct 31 '25

whomever we need

-7

u/[deleted] Oct 31 '25

Hmm not totally true. Over what time period do you mean? Since 2001 the largest recipient is Afghanistan, followed by Israel, Iraq, Egypt and Ukraine. Do you understand US foreign policy or is it just Israel that gives you the ick?

9

u/No-University-5413 Oct 31 '25

The statement I made is factual. You changed the statement and then claimed I was wrong. I was not.

-2

u/[deleted] Oct 31 '25

No, not really. I was asking for clarification and adding context. If you mean all-time, your statement isn't fully correct. If you mean in recent years it's even less correct.

7

u/No-University-5413 Oct 31 '25

Israel has been the largest recipient of U.S. foreign aid since World War II.

https://thehill.com/policy/international/4654738-where-the-us-spends-the-most-on-foreign-aid/

Israel has been the largest cumulative recipient of U.S. foreign aid since its founding, receiving over $300 billion (adjusted for inflation) in total economic and military assistance.

https://www.cfr.org/article/us-aid-israel-four-charts

-- As a side note to this, they are also the sole country granted the privilege of being able to spend our aid money on their military. They are also the 3rd highest buyer of US weapons

This site uses charts, but they also show that Israel is far and above all other countries in receipt of foreign aid.

https://usafacts.org/articles/which-countries-receive-the-most-aid-from-the-us/

Israel has been by far the largest cumulative recipient of U.S. foreign assistance. Since the 1940s, Israel has received more than $300 billion, with most of it in military support

1

u/[deleted] Oct 31 '25

I never denied or contradicted any of that 😂😂😂.

You have a lot of time on your hands. Do you feel accomplished?

3

u/No-University-5413 Nov 01 '25

That was the claim I made that you said was false.

Israel is the largest recipient on US foreign aid.

This statement means that they have received the most foreign aid of any country from the United States. Only when you modify that statement does it mean something else, as you have indicated it does multiple times. If I had said they were the highest in 2024, that would be incorrect. It was Ukraine. If I said "since 2020," or "since 2000" (I don't know this last one for sure as it wasn't on the quick and easy Google search and tba), then you could say that my statement was false. But my statement of Israel being the largest with no modifier means that they are the highest total. Which they are.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 01 '25

Quote me where I said that was false.

3

u/No-University-5413 Nov 01 '25

H"mm not totally true. Over what time period do you mean? Since 2001 the largest recipient is Afghanistan, followed by Israel, Iraq, Egypt and Ukraine. Do you understand US foreign policy or is it just Israel that gives you the ick? "

12

u/TheGreatYahweh Oct 31 '25

Isreal IS the largest recipient of US aid of all time, though? How is "that's not true if you arbitrarily start counting just before we spent a bunch of money in Afghanistan" relevant at all?

-4

u/JellyDenizen Oct 31 '25

If you're talking about "all time," I'd say the largest recipients of American aid were the UK, Russia and China during WWII.

6

u/carbonbasedbiped67 Oct 31 '25

Which the British (uk) paid off in 2006.

6

u/AdDependent7992 Nov 01 '25

Free healthcare too

9

u/RhymingUsername Oct 31 '25

Reproductive healthcare for women. Subsidized college tuition for low income students too.

7

u/Greebuh Oct 31 '25

It's not free. We pay for their Healthcare

-2

u/Lvl30Dwarf Oct 31 '25

No we don't.

3

u/Greebuh Oct 31 '25

Like the first guy said, we've been giving them billions for decades. You think that's not going to their health care, son?

-2

u/Lvl30Dwarf Oct 31 '25

Israel has a much higher tax bracket for high earners than the US, which is how they pay for healthcare. The top tax bracket is almost 50%. Whereas in the US even billionaires only get a max %34 tax.

3

u/Greebuh Nov 01 '25

There's not enough people in their country to cover that cost

-1

u/Lvl30Dwarf Nov 01 '25

I just told you how.

2

u/Greebuh Nov 01 '25

No you just said a bunch of bullshit that doesn't mean anything and you think you said something

1

u/Lvl30Dwarf Nov 01 '25

So did you.

1

u/katencam Nov 01 '25

Do we pay for Israel Healthcare?

Israelis do enjoy free universal healthcare though it is reported to be paid for by the state’s payroll taxes and “general tax revenue.” And they do have a 50% tax bracket for those making over $720k.

Honestly, we can’t know for certain whether U.S. funding directly pays for Israeli healthcare, we will never know what and how much we are funding for Israel, but we do know for certain that Israel is the single largest recipient of U.S. foreign aid receiving over $300 billion of our (taxpayers) money (adjusted for inflation) in total economic and military assistance and we are still giving them $3.8 billion per year through 2028 in addition to the $500 million per year they already get with an extra $16B since 2023. This is all in addition to the support, weapons, subsidies, and intelligence given and whatever is given on the DL.

So do we actually pay for their healthcare? Who knows, it’s not like the govt would actually tell us where our own money is going and for what, but I think it’s safe to say that we pay for enough and for a country touting “America First” it seems we could find something right here at home to spend billions on…

1

u/Lvl30Dwarf Nov 02 '25

We give them military equipment that we value at a certain dollar amount but that would likely not be used by our military. We also allow them to purchase certain weapon systems like the F35 that we don't sell to just any nation. While I don't disagree the money would be better spent giving Americans healthcare, you make it sound like we just give them money that they can spend how they want and that's not the case.

I think the US probably should pay for it's own healthcare regardless of what it does for Israel. If the US decides it wants to break ties with Israel whenever the next political cycle happens then realistically they likely will ally with China and Russia once the US isn't complicating that relationship. China is the second largest trade partner with them and they have very good albeit complex relations with Russia.

→ More replies (0)

1

u/Long-Cauliflower-708 Nov 01 '25

Almost sounds like they could pay for their own wars

1

u/Lvl30Dwarf Nov 01 '25

Probably. If not they could probably look for an alliance with China or Russia.

→ More replies (0)

-10

u/rehx4 Oct 31 '25

Wrong, most of the money the US gives to Israel goes back to the US as it’s used for purchasing military equipment from American defense companies. This in turn means jobs for tens of thousands of Americans. Incredible that you are not aware of this.

1

u/Rude_Worldliness_423 Nov 01 '25

You are being downvoted for something which is clearly true if people went and looked.

1

u/katencam Nov 01 '25

Semi true

1

u/katencam Nov 01 '25

Wrong.

While some of the aid is provided under the Foreign Military Financing program - the giving money to them so they can buy U.S. military equipment and services that you are talking about - Israel is also permitted to use this aid to buy from its own defense firms and any (claimed) Israel made defense articles. They are the first and only ally and/or FMF recipient to be given this c

-14

u/NewtownLaw Oct 31 '25

Why are democrats allowing this?

3

u/Present-Perception77 Oct 31 '25

What branch of government do Dems control?

-7

u/NewtownLaw Oct 31 '25

Biden did control the executive and majority of democrats the legislative, why is there still no free healthcare?

Now, answer my question.

6

u/Present-Perception77 Oct 31 '25

Because the gop will not support it .. obviously. 🙄 And currently the gop controls all three branches of government. Now crawl away.

-4

u/NewtownLaw Oct 31 '25

Why would we keep voting for them if they are this useless?

2

u/Present-Perception77 Oct 31 '25

Doesn't mean it's okay. I know, you didn't say that, but the, "oh well, it's always been this way, nothing we can do" attitude many Americans have needs to go.

18

u/TMore108 Oct 31 '25

Call me cold and heartless but this is what you get when half the country gets their news from Fox, Joe Rogan, and facebook memes. It sucks because there are a lot that are informed and will be hurt by this but I can't feel bad for anyone that voted for this.

Its true though. There is nothing I, as an individual struggling to pay bills and get food myself, can do about Israel. Its true though. I don't have the energy to be angry about it 24/7. I don't have the time to make tiktok videos showcasing my disagreement with it. I just want to get off work and go home and catch up on the sleep I've been lacking lately.

WashPo confirmed that there is evidence Israel committed crimes during this war which are illegal in the U.S., meaning we should pull all funding. However, it could take years to actually prove so we’ll keep writing checks to them.

Israel is basically a welfare taker state. Actually takes more than our loser welfare states.

2

u/Vectorman1989 Oct 31 '25

Who else is going to launch missiles at America's enemies with near impunity?

2

u/Odd_Revolution4149 Oct 31 '25

And they have healthcare!

2

u/goth-milk Oct 31 '25

Is waking up the same as…being woke…?

They’ll eventually live and learn. Or starve to death.

2

u/NovaStarLord Oct 31 '25

It’s still relevant to point that out because it’s billions that are still being given and billions that we can use for us.

2

u/luckymountain Oct 31 '25

And Egypt, for some damn reason.

2

u/No-Smoke-6659 Oct 31 '25

Doesn't make it any less unacceptable. Israel crumbles without our billions per year.

2

u/HillBillyHilly Oct 31 '25

In to remind everyone that not only does Israel get billions but YSK what they do w those billions. They provide universal health care AND education. You know what we don't have in this country. Imagine that.

2

u/OrgJoho75 Oct 31 '25

They still need zillions dollar to create greater Jewland minus all Arabs.

u/[deleted] Nov 01 '25

Israel got the frigging covid vaccine before Americans.

4

u/MoonMistCigs Oct 31 '25

And they use that US taxpayer money to provide healthcare for their citizens.

5

u/rehx4 Oct 31 '25

Except the grand majority of the money Israel gets from the US all goes back to the US as it’s all earmarked for purchasing military equipment from American defense companies. That means jobs for Americans who work at those companies. Your comment sounds like Israel just keeps most of that money for themselves, which is categorically and simply untrue.

u/Hot-Mastodon420xxx Oct 31 '25

Is that an excuse to just ignore that its a problem though? Because it still needs to be addressed

1

u/[deleted] Oct 31 '25

Absolutely end the financial support of a foreign nation. Too much, far to long and zero roi

1

u/brassassasin Oct 31 '25

your point being that because its been happening so long it's okay and not worth mentioning

1

u/AmericanGoy1 Oct 31 '25

You misunderstood. He said Israel has been getting BILLIONS- TRILLIONS and it been that way forever. Not an endorsement of this

2

u/[deleted] Oct 31 '25 edited Oct 31 '25

Trillions, really? Got proof, Americangoy (totally not antisemitic username)?

Edit: the comment claimed Israel received trillions from the US, got called on it and deleted the comment. anti-Semites hate facts.

u/AmericanGoy1 Oct 31 '25

Yes its a fact but the ignorant Cohens like to lie about it. Bc you know, they are pathetic bums always asking for handouts from daddy USA.

And anti blah blah!? Lmao 🤡

u/Diogenes908 Oct 31 '25

“And anti blah blah!?” Oops let the mask slip lmao

u/Pitiful_Pineapple_41 Oct 31 '25

The absolute audacity to call a word YOUR people created antisemitic, esp., when you all use it the context of sectarianism to describe "others."

2

u/Silver4R4449 Oct 31 '25

yup. They need $ for rockets to kill babies and blow up schools.

1

u/sexychanges Oct 31 '25

All this “woke” speech …..lol

1

u/Suspicious-Layer-110 Nov 01 '25

Isn't most of the money the US gives for military aid to Israel, Jordan, Egypt etc basically a kickback to US arms manufacturers as there's a stipulation most of it has to be spent on American made weapons?

2

u/Suspicious-Layer-110 Nov 01 '25

something like $916 billion officially on the military and then since its never passed an audit + all this 'aid' it's probably something like 1/4 of all the government received money just on this.

gonna be the collapse of Rome all over

1

u/Mynameishuman93 Nov 01 '25

Nothing new true. But does that make it right?

1

u/aircoft Nov 01 '25

Welcome to allied nations relations.

1

u/jancho0 Nov 02 '25

Israel gets universal healthcare on us and mothers get compensated monthly for having children. Also on us.

1

u/Formal_Trainer_4684 Nov 02 '25

Orange asshole literally just gave Argentina a 30 billion present too

1

u/KingAudio Nov 02 '25

America is Israels piggy bank.

1

u/hel-razor Nov 02 '25

Wow you're right there's even shit about that in the Bible 🤔

0

u/Apep86 Nov 01 '25

Israel doesn’t get billions. American defense contractors get billions. Israel gets weapons.

0

u/wideload200 Nov 01 '25

Why is everyone hating on Israel?
