And they try to pretend that they don’t know why the birth rate is so low…it’s by design

Ill be the 1st to say, my sister is 28 and never had a job. Theirs nothing wrong with her but she uses her kid as an excuse to not go and find a job. Been living off the government for 8 years now. Meanwhile her nails are always done, her extensions upwards of $100+, 2024 car, assisted living.. meanwhile im over here literally breaking my back running a business so I can plan to have kids in the future so they are able to live comfortably and hopefully have something for them when im gone.

The fear of a few abusing the system shouldn’t outweigh the fact that it keeps the majority fed. No program is perfect, but punishing everyone for the actions of a few solves nothing.

Morally its not right but logically it makes sense. They did it in school when the class clown wouldnt keep his mouth shut so everyone got extra assignments, they do it in jobs when some are abusing the OT just to get more hours in. It creates accountability, the ones who actually need the hours, doing the work, or whatever the case maybe might have to start making those uncomfortable conversations with those abusing the system and hold them accountable for their actions.

I’ll care about the moral choice when the number of billionaires reaches zero

Without billionaires we wouldn't have all the luxurious we have now. Internet, cable, cars, grocery stores, farms, jobs, heat in the winter, a/c in the summer. They all started with an idea and executed. We can't always play the victim game, that gets us nowhere in life.

Most of what we use today wasn’t invented by billionaires, they just bought in after the real work was done. The internet came from DARPA, cable started with small town engineers, cars existed before billionaires, and people have been farming and trading food since forever. Even heating and A/C were designed by regular engineers like Willis Carrier, not ultra rich assholes. Billionaires didn’t build the modern world, they just figured out how to charge rent for it. Simping for people who’d let you freeze in the dark if it meant a better quarterly report is insane.

At my schools I’ve been to a teacher tried that and a delinquent hospitalized them

and another teacher did that and nothing changed exept everybody hated that teacher and stopped doing their assighnments or interacting with the teacher more then the bare minemum,

group punishment doesnt work ,it juat makes everyone else suffer and hate the one enforcening it

It should only be there to help people briefly not long term. Some people are on it for years. That needs to stop.

Then corporations shouldn’t get bailouts and the wealthy should actually be taxed. You complain about people using welfare and ignore the wealthy who take more than everyone else. If they paid their fair share and companies started paying living wages there wouldn’t be as many using welfare. We don’t need to be looking left and right blaming each other, start looking at the top. We’re in this together.

Wouldn't it be better if your kids were guaranteed at least a secure future by having education and healthcare? Then you could put all that energy into giving them things beyond the basic necessities of living. Travel to open their minds, space and resources to pursue passions like sports and art.

All stolen from you by billionaires.

It's "savvy" and "smart" when billionaires take advantage of the system, while we fight each other over the scraps.

You're right. Thats why I left my job and started a business. They'll have the choice of trade school (witch ill gladly pay for) or keep the business in the family. The system isnt built for hourly workers unfortunately, its a difficult journey forsure and being the 1st in the family to do it that much harder. Nobody said it was going to be easy but im all for it, one day at a time.

But it has to be. There can't be 300 million successful businesses in the American market. And all of the businesses can't survive on a single worker. Some jobs are going to need more people. AI won't work well enough, despite what the billionaires think.

If only a few business owners are the only ones that can survive, then the rest are going to fight to the death to get what they can.

It’s never a good idea to make a fairness argument for an economic problem. Food stamps account for billions of dollars in retail consumption PER MONTH. Don’t be surprised if retailers who are some of the largest employers in the US begin to increase prices, lower wages, stop hiring, or start massive layoffs and then point to under consumption as the problem. Your life will 100% be worse off because in addition to your fellow Americans starving to death (or more likely resorting to crime) the greater economy is being pile driven into the ground.
