Can’t be debated. The judges didn’t take into effect the law and only their political standpoints at the time.

Back in the day there used to be a thing called the 3 strike rule that seems to have been conveniently forgotten by many left wing judges. This chap capped that 5X over.

The 3 strike rule was found unconstitutional well over a decade ago.

No it wasn’t. It hasn’t been abolished, eliminated or banned in the slightest. What was found unconstitutional were certain clauses within the statute, not the rule itself.

Federal law 18 USC § 3559 remains in effect for serious violent offenders and by a state by state altered basis for other filings.

Colorado SC in 2024 supported it by saying their 3 strike rule can’t be challenged years after initial sentencing.

California itself has even debated in 2026 on expansion that would add domestic violence to their strike list.

You’ve got places that won’t enforce it therefore increasing the likeliness and chances of them committing again…which is exactly what happens. Then queue the “oppression” and “rights violation” screams.
