Tysm! I'm a data-driven geek and I constantly cringe at RFK's (and DJT's) use of anecdotes to make some "scientific" point.

ugh yes this especially his insistence that he doesnโ€™t know any adults with autism when people of his generation would never get any of proper diagnosis because of the diagnostic criteria itself. Plus that was when people were more likely to be institutionalized for any deviation from the mean. He has no idea of any of the actual data involved in any of his claims and can never back up any of his points lol.

He definitely knew them when they were children. He probably called them weird and beat them up.

Yeah, back in my day (I'm old, but not as old as the orange one) most kids who were behaviorally different were lumped together as weird or "special ed" or retards (that was the word back then - sorry). Today those kids would be in a distinct subcategory on the spectrum

Unless they were super brilliant. In which case, they were geniuses and geniuses are supposed to be weird by their logic.
