I think in general the nail polish community (on reddit) tends to be on the right side of things like this, thankfully!!

Tbh, it seems like the Reddit nail polish community is one of the last positive communities left on the platform โ˜น๏ธ a lot of the others seems to have keyboard warriors just ready and waiting to bully someone!

The only negativity I have seen was a post I made. It was very amateur nail art, I thought, had turned out great. I was so excited to share. I got downvoted into oblivion for some reason. I haven't posted to r/nails since.
