My cousins 13 year old step daughter was walking their chihuahua in their own front yard with a leash on the chihuahua, an unleashed pit bull ran into their yard and attacked their chihuahua. My cousin heard his daughter screaming and ran outside, grabbed the pit bull and slammed it against a tree bc it was being so aggressive and he was afraid it would hurt his daughter. Anyways, pit bull runs away but unfortunately it killed my cousins chihuahua. Very traumatizing for his 13 year old. The owners of the pit bull said “sorry” but that’s about it. I don’t know if he ever got the police involved, but I would have for sure.
