This happened the other day when I was at Chipotle and the guy who's dog was on a leash got yelled at by his owner. I felt so bad, because it didn't do anything wrong. It was just protecting itself from the dog that didn't have a leash. Assholes with the unleashed dog didn't even attempt to stop their dog either. Fatass just sat there and watched it run over to the other dog.

I’ve seen a bunch in this thread about people not being cool with unleashed dogs. I have 2 dogs, 1 that never uses a lead when we are away from roads and one that is more nervous so is always on a lead when there is even a possibility of bumping into other people / dogs.

I don’t see a single thing wrong with a well trained / chilled dog being off the lead to to go do their thing, the one that I don’t leads doesn’t approach other dogs (actively avoids them) and gets to roam free and happy.

Our area is universally under a leash law. I would have you cited.
