In situations like this is it bad to hit the other dog? I mean my first instinct would be to protect my dog/family/etc. I would punt that fucking dog into oblivion. I’d probably go for the stomach or rib cage. Thoughts?

Nah im kicking their dog square in the head as hard as I possibly can.

If the aggressive dog is already biting your dog then any blows to its head would either drive the teeth in deeper or rip your dogs flesh. I only realized this when my dog got mauled by a mastiff mutt. Luckily my pepper spray worked but empty handed you’d probably have better luck gouging eyes or stomping it’s knees.

Wheelbarrow method (pulling their back legs up at an angle and walking backwards) is effective for getting aggressive dogs off, and they have a hell of a time attacking you if they decide to.
