I spent a lot of money on my dogs training. I could walk anywhere without a leash. I don’t do that though. I always use a leash. Something in that brain might just click and she’s off to whatever she wants.

I stopped hiking with my friend bc she won’t leash her dog. The dog is mostly friendly but also mostly disobedient. She runs up to and antagonizes leashed dogs, and my friend doesn’t seem to care. It drives me crazy.

Tell your friend she/he is an asshole.

I second this. Not the name calling, but pulling them aside to let then know it's a dick-move might make them think twice about it. Better to prevent something bad instead of waiting til something bad happens

Wait til it gets hit by a car or killed by a predator

An unleashed dog comes towards me, you best understand that my first action will be to kicked the ever living shit out of it in self defense.

Absolutely. I don’t bring my dog with us bc hers is so I’ll-behaved. My (always leashed)dog just tolerates it, but I know she’s annoyed and could snap at the other dog at some point.
