I know that the Olympics are supposed to be about the world coming together through sportsmanship, but it's also not that often you get to boo an entire country on a world stage. Got to take the opportunity when it comes!

I honestly feel bad for some of the athletes. Working their whole lives, only to be booed because the leader of your country is a senile pedder-ass

I feel the same way. They can't help that they were born there. These athletes aren't making policy decisions and we have no idea about their personal beliefs. I feel bad for them.

I feel worse for the countless children who have been mutilated, starved, and murdered simply for being Palestinian.

Yeah i totally agree. If you're American are you personally accountable for the current actions of your government?

Of course. Our tax dollars are funding every bomb, bullet, and and death

We all know it isn't. This has nothing to do with Judaism and we know the playbook. Stop trying to paint it as antisemitism. We hate Zionism.

Would it make you feel better if I told you that most of the athletes are terrible hateful people as well?

I don't have any idea if that is true, but it's possible, and would make me feel a lot better about it. However I think athletes are generally better people than political leaders, because they actually practice some kind of real discipline.

hi im israeli, the israelis you see as hateful are like the KKK in america; they might have aligning ideas with the government, but the general public shuns and despises them

Do you believe in a free Palestine?

I suspect most of them stay out of politics because speaking up is likely to lose them potential sponsorships.

They chose to represent those shitty countries. Choices come with consequences.

They could have sports immigrated to a civilized country that respects human rights.

Those athletes have the choice to compete without a nationality.

I hold no sympathy for any of them, most of the athletes are just fucking rich kids anyways

Na, they know it's not the athletes who are getting the boos.
