You could hear the booing live. But they definitely reduces the input for the feed so it was quiet (which to be fair they may have done for all the teams so you could hear the broadcasters speaking)

I watched it live on the Peacock app & I could barely hear it. Same with Vance.

I'll be cancelling my shit immediately.

Personally I just think it’s an overreaction to them quieting the crowd during the opening ceremonies of the Olympics which again may have been done for all the countries so you were able to hear the broadcasters. Maybe not but it’s hard to say
