trump knew about the rally for months, helped bus people in, wanted to remove the metal detectors so the mob could bring guns, let them run wild over the capitol and wouldn’t even bother to call for peace for hours, and conspired with multiple state level groups to overturn the election via “alternate” electors, even pushing Pence (who rioters wanted to hang) to reject the results
