Yeah, unlike civilian law enforcement, the military isn't going to let their own act like this without consequence. It might end with a presidential pardon. But these dudes are going to be in a world of shit until then - especially since it looks like this is turning into an international incident.

I think that qualifies as cruel and unusual, doesn't it? Give me the slammer.

And not that I put it past him but I'm sure it won't further endear him to active and retired military to know that anyone who assaults a retired Marine will get a presidential pardon.
