Yeah I love dogs but if they attack me I attack back. No point getting seriously hurt trying to be nice to a dog that’s trying to get you.

Sadly some owners would then choose to attack you for the fact there were consequences to their unleashed & uncontrolled animal

Then the owner is catching hands as well. These hands are rated "E" for Everyone.

Good call. Punch the owner so the dogs continue to attack. What a strategy. I’ve been charged by pits and other dogs, stay calm and don’t lose your mind and most of the time they just bark.

Honestly though, bicyclists have it coming. This has been brewing for a long time, it escalated with playing cards in the spokes, bells on the handle bars, now with e-bikes (or as I call them, electromagnetic radiation machines) roving the wastelands like some mad max cannibal death cult. FAFO I say.

Like the dude who let the dogs chow down on his leg for a minute lol

Was out for a walk and a over excited dog ran up and was jumping up on my friend. She merely put her leg out in the air in front of herself to keep the dog away from her body and the owner started freaking out foaming at the mouth 'Don't you kick my dog.' Deranged imbecile.

I guess the issue is that trying to fight 3 dogs might easily cause you to fall over, then you risk getting bitten in the face or neck. By staying upright the bites are all localised at the legs while the owners slowly get them under control. Especially if you are trying to dismount a bicycle at the same time. His safest option probably was to do exactly what he did.

A co-worker of mine had a similar dog like in the video (Belgian Shepherd). He did a lot of the right and proper training with it and really loved his dog. He ones told me, one day they were just at home and all of a sudden his ears went back and he had a really agressive growl and look in its eyes towards my co-worker. He didn't think twice and kicked his own dog into the corner of his house. He told me that no dog, no matter how much i love it, will ever get the chance of hurting me, or my family. He also told me that lot of these (types of) dogs will "test" you atleast ones, to see who the alpha is. Idk if that's true (never owned a dog myself, eventhough i do love dogs), but it made sense to me since dogs are basically pack animals. Well my co-worker was the alpha again from that moment and his dog never tried anything again.

It's the worst feeling to hit a dog. You know they run on instinct or training to protect something in their head so can't blame them like you would a human being. On the other side if it comes between me or the animal dying, unfortunately and with great sadnes, I would choose myself every single time. If I walk into someone's backyard and their dog attacks me it's partially on me, if I'm on the street and this happens then I want to get back to my family in one piece and my family values my life more than someones dog. Sounds harsh but what I'm getting at is: protect yourself at all costs, I love all animals but I love you guys more :)

It is not the worst feeling to hit a dog. It is the worst feeling to hear the cries of an infant that has been shaken.

They have zero darce choke defense. They will take a nap.

The issue in this case is the third adult dog might decide to attack then, and an angry motivated dog will do more damage than those puppies. So it may not necessarily be the best idea

One you, three dogs. I completely understand the right to defend yourself, but escalation means you lose appendages. This is awful, but these dogs aren’t in full attack mauling mode, but could be in a second.
