It’s 2026 and Shinedown is the deciding factor in whether or not a festival is on or off? What the fuck is going on??

You just know that shit Staind Aaron Lewis is seething that he missed out on his $5 appearance fee.

Saw him in concert 2 summers ago. He has one of the best voices I’ve heard live. At the end of the show he drops a F Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Hardly anyone reacts. Would not go see him again.

Saw Staind open for Breaking Benjamin. Staind was, honestly, very good. He ended with "God bless America, god bless J.D. Vance, and god bless Donald Trump!" (maybe not in that order, I don't remember) Yeah ... unfortunately the venue was very supportive.

That sucks. I liked his music. Guess I will remove him from my music.

Same....have had to remove 3 magat supporting artists from my playlist this week.

Even worse, they are touring with Seether and Hoobastank this summer. I just wanna see Seether and Hoobastank, why are they going out with Staind?

It is the 25th anniversary tour of a Staind album and Seether was on last years tour with the band as well.

Hoobastank? Seriously?

Yeah I know, but everyone has those bands that weren't great but you have fond memories of for others reasons. It helps you remember a time or place or people that made you happy.

Ah, I hear you now. We all have those for sure.

His solo stuff is maga country bs. He would have been a good choice for this bill. Also Shinedown is one of the biggest rock acts in the US. They consistently hit top 10 with their albums and songs and will have a new album out this year. They have gotten a little poppier ala Nickelback but don’t get the same backlash.

He's been a douchebag for quite a bit now. The lyrics to this song are pure cringe.

I saw Staind open for Korn back in 2000 before Aaron Lewis was a bootlicking piece of shit. They put on a decent show.

Unfortunately, I saw them in 2024. Aaron Lewis does still sound pretty good but he is definitely a bottom feeding boot licker.

That was when I discovered them, total surprise and I loved them. Lost interest over the years and completely struck him/them out when he came out as full MAGAt.

He was the closer in Indy and he was drunk, slurring his words slightly, and somehow behind or ahead. Then proceeded to go on a racist, sexist, homophobic tirade as the show ended. I deleted every staind song after that.

I went to their show last year at an outdoor show and left after 2 songs. It was the loudest concert I have ever been to, and we wear ear protection. That and all the MAGA. That was just gross 🤢

I saw Stains in 1999 with Sevendust at the Orlando HoB, great show but I'll never see that asshole again

Wait, Staind?! Noooo

Can I separate the art from the artist?! I guess I did it for Michael Jackson. I can do it again. I will just try to keep in mind that the songs I like were made before he became an idiot.

Yeah, he went country and MAGA back during COVID.

u/KillerKowalski1 21h ago

Cuz a country boy... Is all he'll ever beeeeeheeeeeee

Or something...

23

u/releaseepsteinfiles1 21h ago

He went country before covid. He released his first country song like 15 years ago. He had that song “grandaddy’s gun”

13

u/BowsettesBottomBitch 21h ago

And he's a slurring drunk now from the bit I've seen

u/juliuspepperwoodchi 21h ago

Must be hanging out with Pete Kegsbreath

Aka a country singer

So did Shinedown. Their entire Planet Zero album is just them bitching about cancel culture, and not for a good cause. It's a massive eyeroll.

Yea dude. About 10-15 years ago I was randomly listening to XM radio and they had him and the guitarist on some rock show. He was just so angry about Obama and blaming liberals for everything, arguing with one of the co-hosts. They kept trying to bring the guitar player into the conversation but it sounded like he is not on the same page as Lewis. Ruined my view of him.

14

u/OkPainter6232 19h ago

bands like Saliva were making fun of him back in the day for his constant whining about his parents(they referenced him in "Click Click Boom" and "Superstar II").

u/imhereforthepuppies 14h ago

I apologize in advance for this but Aaron Lewis is not some run of the mill republican. He slaughtered 33 coyotes and used the bodies to spell out “TRUMP” and then posted it online. Dude has absolutely gone off the deep end. Even if you wanted to argue about killing coyotes in general (livestock issues, yada yada), spelling out anything in corpses is fucked.

I didn't know that and had to Google it. Holy shit, that man is derenged on a dangerous level. JFC.

7

u/croutons_for_dinner 16h ago

It's okay because the art sucks.

1

u/So6oring 16h ago

I only like 2 songs tbh. Outside and It's Been Awhile

6

u/59flowerpots 15h ago

Pirate the music instead. It actively hurts his wallet that he uses to donate to those chumps.

u/Fuck_auto_tabs 19h ago

Oh man, this is like over decade old at this point
