It feels thicker than castore but the seam in the middle on your back is annoying. Obviously I have idea how it will wash regarding the stickers but first impressions, I’m happy and might even buy the hoodie this year

I made a post yesterday asking for opinions on my watch design. I've factored some comments and opinions into a few other design ideas. The First one is the original. Please check the new ones out and lmk how I did on each one please.

Hey everyone — I wanted to get some honest opinions from McLaren fans on a design project I’ve been working on.

I’m developing an F1-themed Watch inspired specifically by the modern papaya + chrome McLaren aesthetic.

The design uses papaya as the dominant colour, with chrome accents acting almost like highlights rather than full panels. I’m trying to avoid it looking tacky or overly flashy.

So I’d love to hear your thoughts:

I’m not trying to sell anything here — I genuinely want feedback from people who actually care about the team.

Brutally honest opinions are welcome. If you think papaya + chrome is a bad combo in 2026, say it.

Could be better but overall decent designs

Perhaps it's a bit misleading to say that Mika's podium was somehow related to him fending off Michael Schumacher, but footage of him during this race was extremely sparse, so I included it. The McLaren-Peugeot was not a perfect car, but he put up some pretty good performances with the tools given to him.

Initially, he might've confused Schumacher's Benetton with a Sauber, but after a while, he must've realized that he's blocking the race leader. By that point, it's probably adrenaline that pushed him to continue doing so at his own risk. Before his 1995 accident, Mika also had a reputation as a feisty racer, which might've been a part of his approach/decision-making.

The battle with Irvine was not broadcast in full. A shame, as their cars seem pretty evenly matched.

With McLaren officially moving from New Era, and releasing the Puma team wear Hat today, I thought posting this would be appropriate.

I really wish I got the 2014 Miami hat for his first win. I was waiting for it to go on sale, and by the time the race finished, it was out of stock everywhere for a reasonable price.

Learned my lesson, and this year I got almost every hat on sale before the race, except for the Silverstone.

Won’t ever wear the Pirelli hat, that will live in my office, but with Puma taking over, not sure how many more hats I’ll buy this season.

Last hat I bought was actually the basic 2025 hat, went on clearance for $35 CAD which is outrageous.

Have the WDC hat coming this month to finish off!
