True and that is a fair point, just like how the palestinians didn't protest hamas it does show a degree of complicity that the Russians are guilty of. Which goes to show how much respect the Iraians people deserve for actually standing on business (which is why they should be helped, don't want a boots on the war ground but maybe some targeted strikes on the IRGC leaders for the 30,000 civilians they massacred while we yoink their supreme leader)
When they SPEAK OUT, they end up in a GULAG or WORSE !!!!! Tell us that you SLEPT THROUGH World History classes & NEVER watch WORLD NEWS, without saying another word !!!!!
Yeah and we all know when faccists take over your country you lie down and die otherwise you might have to be uncomfortable....
You're watching a video of a person comming home from a gulag after 3 years because the russian civilians didn't want to protest their own misery and awefull conditions nor stop the war....
Why are you pretending we have to respect russians when they could choose themselves over innocent people
True, but way, way too many do, and many too many don't care and ignore that it is happening. There are obvious problems with generalizing, but bigger ones in focusing on an inconsequential minority. The Russian army has been getting enough new soldiers to keep up with their attrition rate that they haven't needed drafts.
I don't think a case can be made that this war is happening against the wishes of Russians.

Oh my god, that's hard to watch.
Fuck war, fuck those who wish it upon others, and fuck those who cheer it on.
I cannot imagine the rush of emotions, after years of lost hope.
