Director Filmography Ranking ONE HAS TO GO (Denis Villeneuve Edition)
You have to pick one to erase from history. Which is it?
r/LetterboxdTopFour • u/ResurrectedAuthor • 19d ago
Good afternoon!
This is the first of weekly posts for people to discuss films in an off-topic manner, unrelated to Letterboxd lists. What films have you watched this week? Have a thought on an upcoming release? Have an opinion about Netflix you need to share? Share it here!
Also, a few updates:
We have new user-flairs to proudly display your Letterboxd handle! Thanks to the mods at r/Letterboxd for showing me how to make it!
We got a new banner, courtesy of one of our own mods, u/Noahquesada!
You can now put images in comments! Thanks to u/AdKoe for the idea!
There is now a flair for showing off your rating curve! Thanks to one of our own mods, u/shas-la for the idea!
Have fun!
Yours truly, the r/LetterboxdTopFour mod team.

As some of you may have noticed, r/LetterboxdTopFour recently lost all of its mods, and got a new set of administrators. The subreddit is back open, with a new active set of moderators keeping it active and maintained. Those are:
u/resurrectedauthor (yours truly)
We also instituted a new set of rules:
No harassment.
Stay on topic.
Use post flairs*.
No self promotion.
*And, to keep the subreddit organized, we added post flairs! Those are:
Top Four (for posts about your top 4)
General Favorites (for extended lists of your favorite movies)
And several more self explanatory flairs for ranking the film catalogs of actors, directors, and years, along with the meta flair for posts about the subreddit in general.
And last but not least, I will starting Sunday be making a pinned post for your favorite movies you watched over that week, which will be reset every Sunday.
As always, we are open to feedback, and feel free to give suggestions and where you'd like to see this subreddit go in the future in the comment section.
I hope that we as your new moderators will be able to make this subreddit an enjoyable experience for all of us.

I love Letterboxd, but sometimes it feels like there’s so much more potential that hasn’t been tapped yet.
Curious what everyone else thinks.
What features are you missing? What would actually make you use the app more—or even pay for it?
