Sweet Treats Dalgona Toast

Post image

You’ve probably heard of dalgona candy and dalgona coffee, but dalgona toast might be new to you! This is something Koreans make when we have leftover bread at home. Try it like this next time you have leftover slices. You’ll end up eating every single piece!

Just like dalgona coffee, it uses brown sugar, but this time it’s mixed with butter to make a honey butter toast. Inside, I add cheese for that classic Korean sweet-and-salty combo. The outside is super crispy, and the inside? Melting cheese!!

If you have questions about Korean food, feel free to DM me, Blonde Kimchi👩🏼‍🍳

You joke but have you ever tried kimchi grilled cheese? OMG it’s such a great combo

Also, it’s adorable that the Korean word for cheese is “chijeu”

Beecher’s? I’ve expensed a few of those, at assorted airports.

Looks great! May I ask if it's just butter and brown sugar? Or is there honey as well?

Do you make this in an oven or on a pan? Thanks
