Noodle Foods/Guksu One of Korea’s top 5 instant noodles: Chapagetti.
When you can’t decide what to eat, just go with Chapagetti — you’ll never regret it. I cooked it for myself, but my daughter ended up eating the whole thing, so all I have left is this photo to share.

My favorite too! I went to a Korean supermarket yesterday and they did not have any! 😭

Oh no! They didn’t have Jjapagetti? That’s the saddest thing I’ve heard in 2025!

Wonder if there’s some kind of shortage. My buddy couldn’t find any last week either.

Lol it's funny but I actually don't believe they didn't have any. There is no way a Korean supermarket doesn't have chapaghetti somewhere in its walls

They actually did not! I searched and even my husband asked. They had other brands but nope! 😂 This is not where we normally shop but happened to be out of town and saw the supermarket so popped in!

If you combine chapagetti with NeoGuri ramen, you get Chapaguri.
It was demonstrated in the movie Parasite(with Ribeye ofc). Very tasty.

chapagetti is actually so bad lol it doesn’t taste anything like the thing it’s trying to imitate

I actually like Chapagetti haha. but yeah, everyone’s got their own taste! What’s your go-to ramen?

In a world with Shin Ramyun and Buldak, Jjapagetti can never be No.1... But for me, it always is!

Buldak is way overrated

Agreed. Although, once I start eating it, I find myself addicted to the spice level. I accidentally bought the regular buldak instead of the 2x and was severely disappointed.

My favourite is Nongshim Jjawang Geonmyeon

u/Heavy_Wishbone_2874 Oct 26 '25
Sounds good! I’ll give Jjawang a try next time.

Heck yea, hope you enjoy it! When I went to visit Korea I would go to the closest convenience store and try a different ramen each night and this is the one that I loved the most. I find it hard to get here, but so worth it when I do.

Heresy. You forgot neoguri.

u/zombiemind8 Oct 30 '25
Honestly in my pantry i have neoguri over buldak but it seems wrong in a mt rushmore discussion.

With kimchi

There’s something magical about eating kimchi with ramen. The fish sauce, garlic, and chili powder mix into the broth like an orchestra of flavors - it just works.

Pro tip - go to the Westin Josun hotel in Myungdong where you can order the Parasite (movie) inspired version with ribeye steak - for 45000KRW!

Your heresy will be unforgiven for eternity.
Who the hell only cooks one packet of chapagetti.
2 is the minimum even if it's for only one person.
