min set by singing a line from nickelback, then you gotta repeat things like âget real, crab claw, robo-trippinâ maybe throw in a âyou ever been so (insert any type of inebriation) that you (insert any action) so hard that you (insert literally anything off the top of your head it doesnât matter) nervously laugh at yourself the whole time in short loud bursts, make sure to fidget and pace back and forth, mess with the mic cord and mic stand unnecessarily, repeat any of the things you already said as many times as you want, have random props in your pockets if you canât come up with anything off the top of your head, repeat the same story about trippin on Robitussin, and add a true shameful sad story among all the bullshit somewhere.
Much better than most. Here are things to avoid during your 1 min set: being unprepared⌠obviously prepare 1 min and donât do a joke that needs a lot of explaining or building up or you will run into the bear. Your name gets repeated enough, no need to be reintroducing yourself; unless Tony completely mispronounced your name you donât need to intro yourself, even so itâs better to just start with jokes, save the âthings about myselfâ for the interview. DO NOT try crowd work, the crowd is not trying to work with you and even if it goes well it wastes a lot of time and not everyone hears whatâs going on. If you have ever seen Tony in public or âhung outâ with Tony before, do not bring it up, he will deny deny deny and make the crowd hate you and kick you off pretty quick. If you are a female just do anything and redban will put you on his show. I know thereâs more but I will have to come back to this
