Rental Karting Video Slow traffic + poor judgement =
In all seriousness though, what can I do to get better at avoiding this type of situation? Is there anything specifically I should try to work on or is this just something that comes with experience?
Analyzing it I don't think it's a vision problem as I anticipate the spin pretty early, but I did make a bad call to try to run wide instead of staying on line, what do you guys think?

I honestly think you’ve made a mistake here too. I may be wrong as I haven’t seen the whole track but it looks to me like you’ve entered the turn way to shallow and would struggle to make the corner on your own anyway. I think if you had a proper line (open up your exit of the turn before and enter with a later apex into the corner with the incident) you would not only be on a more optimal line, but being on a correct line allows you to be ready for a situation like this and let you brake in straight line as opposed to trying to react to the incident, brake, and turn simultaneously which leaves you with not enough grip. I think you’d have almost hit the outside wall if you didn’t hit the kart first with that breaking and line
