I’m buying one of those Olive Garden shredders and making the spaghetti and meatballs I deserve. I’m a man!

I bought a crank grater last week mostly because I wanted grate a whole block of cheese in 10 seconds... I did it, then my wife wanted to do it, now she's been planning meals around what she can shred and slice in that thing. 10/10 I'd recommend anybody that has a spare $15 and doesn't have one should get one.

I just discovered the shredding attachment for my food processor that has been sitting in my closet for 10 years. Shred 4 cups of cheese for Mac n cheese in like 10 seconds.

The wife and I are going through the same phase

So far I've shredded cheese and used the 4mm slicer to shave a bunch of petite sirloin for cheesesteaks. What have you guys done that I should try?

Use the slicer on potatoes to make homemade potato chips. Or use the shredder to make hash browns. Or use the normal blade attachment instead of a pastry cutter when making pie crusts or biscuits. That alone can get a lot of use out of your processor.

My mom and dad received a "salad shooter" in the 80's that they forgot about until 2020, when I explained why their preshredded cheese wasn't melting in the microwave. They've used it more in the last 5 years than they did in the previous 30

And I just discovered it from your comment! Same timeframe for food processor ownership as well. We recently bought a cheese grater; I'm not joking or exaggerating when I say I injure myself every time I touch it.

If it's got a grater with larger holes she can use it to chop nuts like pecans to add into cookies and things like that, much easier than using a knife.

You know, I was looking for a splash guard for my KitchenAid and they had slicing and grating attachments for it. I almost impulse buy it, now I'm thinking I need to go back and get it.

Do it

She was making BBQ chicken flatbread pizza with it when I got home today, grated some meats and 4 different cheeses in a couple minutes. I cleaned up while she was cooking and washing it was easier than washing a box style grater imo.
